Friday October 16th from 7-9pm, at Bellingham Center For Spiritual Living is a fundraiser concert featuring Yogoman Burning Band, for DanceIn Schools, a new non profit organization started by local Bellingham musician of 32 years Jordan Rain/Yogoman and fiscally sponsored by Shunpike, a Seattle 501c3. Shunpike is an umbrella organization who supports many WA arts nonprofits and accepted DanceIn School's application, will complete their bookkeeping, taxes, set up DanceIn Schools as a non profit organization registered in WA, and is a stable resource for quality control and a reference to help find suitable funding sources for a small percentage (10%) of DanceIn Schools donations. DanceIn Schools staff, which is currently volunteered by Rain himself, is responsible for booking the shows, working with schools, grant writing, finding public and private donors and sponsors in the different communities across the nation they will perform in. The mission at DanceIn Schools will facilitate getting all ages friendly positive dance music into school assemblies and dances, offering live music to generate independent student dancing, education of movement as a fun, creative and cultural health activity, providing wellness, anxiety/stress relief, and time off screens and devices, while inspiring students to pick up real instruments in their school band programs. Yogoman Burning Band will be the pilot group and the aim of DanceIn Schools is to be able to pay bands and a small staff facilitating these performances a living wage while on the road providing this community service, county to county, state to state and be able to repeat this process with other fun and positive all-ages suitable live music dance bands in the future.

No tickets will be administered to this performance. Admission is a suggested love donation of $25.00 or more, but no one turned away from this community dance event.
