This is event is a celebration of a live YBB c.d. called 4 Piece Chicken Dinner, celebrating the minimal 4 piece incarnation of YBB that took place during the last two years with former bass player Norah McLaughlin and Thomas Deakin on Sax.  4 Piece Chicken Dinner of course includes remaining members Mars Lindgren on Trombone and Yogoman on drums and vocals, but captures a unique and stripped down version of the band, many thought would be sonically unworthy of a group that at one time had 8 members.  We are proud to have accomplished the 4 Piece, and 4 Piece Chicken Dinner is a testament to that effort and a tasty meal of a live performance captured at Boundary Bay Brewrery, outside on July 7, 2011. 

The Fremont Abbey is All-Ages with bar, and a beautiful venue.  We hope you'll join us and celebrate life with us through our dance music with a new YBB line up featuring new members- Nelson Bell on trombone/sousaphone, Amanda Rhine on Saxophone, and my dad Michael Rain on bass and vocals.
