All of it was recorded at home onto my first laptop computer (iBook G4) into Garageband, the music software that comes with Apples/Macs. This is my first album of songs I recorded around 2004 before I started Yogoman Burning Band. All of it was recorded at home onto my first laptop computer (iBook G4) into Garageband, the music software that comes with Apples/Macs. Each track was recorded through the pinhole mic on the screen of the laptop (mini condenser mic) as basic room recordings and then layered, mixed and effected later in Garageband.

I was excited by this technology, as it gave me a way to quickly record while inspired musically and to see each song from beginning to end myself. Prior to this I had tried to do some tape 4 track recording but I couldn't figure out that technology easy enough to not impede the inspiration at hand.
